  You bring up some great points, but it's definitely a tricky balancing act! ​If we ranked strictly by total placements (wins), veteran players would dominate simply because they've played more games. That would make it nearly impossible for newer users to climb the ranks, and I really want to make sure they get a chance in the spotlight too. On the flip side, your analysis about using a win rate (total placements / total participation) is spot on. If I actually ranked it that way, the standings would look completely skewed. The top 10 would be entirely filled with 'one-hit wonders' who only joined one or two challenges, got lucky, and won. In fact, our current Top 10 champions wouldn't even make the cut! ​There's really no perfect system, but I agree with you—with a bit of persistence, that #1 spot is just a matter of time!

  ​I actually have the data, but I intentionally left it out of the main table for a few reasons. I just put the interesting tidbits in the trivia section, like the most active participants. I'll make sure to include it next time!

  you're in the middle according to her rankings. You're tied for #46 out of 80. You have 9 in the top 10. 4 tied for 9. There are 30 who got 8 or below. She ordered them by the number of first place wins. If I ordered them, I'd order them by the # of total wins. What's missing is the total number of games played. Some people play every game so their odds are higher. While you haven't had a #1 yet, you've had a #2-#3. A #1 is just a question of time and luck and persistence. It'd be good to see the total number of games played but we don't have that stat. The best way to rank is total wins/total games although that would favor those who played the least but had a lucky win but over time would even out. The other thing you can look at is you had 9 wins in the top 10. What did they have in common with each other in composition, color palette, subject or ratio (portrait/landscape)? What did they have in common with Sealine, Wizfield and German Cowboy wins? And BP's example image & words?

  Thanks for that - you looked at it with more focus than I did 🤣 I did leave a suggestion that the number of challenges entered would be a useful additional column. Suppose you can play with the stats in many different ways. Who said something like "Lies, damn lies, and statistics"?
