The necromancer hunts fossils and resurrects them.

Entry in the Fossil Hunter challenge.

About this image

This cinematic dark fantasy digital artwork shows a powerful robed necromancer sorceress standing on jagged rocky terrain, holding an ornate spiked staff as she channels golden arcane energy to resurrect a massive decaying undead dragon from the enormous fossilized skeleton of an ancient long-dead wyrm. Warm golden sunset light filters through dramatic cloud-filled skies, illuminating tattered dragon wings, swirling lightning-like magic tendrils, and the sorceress's flowing tattered robes, creating an ominous, tense atmosphere of raw mythical power. Jagged distant mountain peaks and swirling dust clouds around the ancient fossil add depth and epic scale to the spellbinding fantasy scene.
