Entry in the Desert Stargazer challenge.

About this image

This surreal fantasy landscape shows hooded stargazers gathered on rippled pale desert sand dunes, surrounded by ornate lit lanterns and a vintage brass telescope pointed up at the night sky. The dramatic celestial scene features a swirling pastel purple and blue Milky Way, bright colorful shooting stars, and jagged dark mountain silhouettes on the horizon, with warm golden lantern glow contrasting cool, moody night tones. This dreamlike, evocative artwork captures the magic of stargazing, astronomy, and cosmic wonder in an otherworldly quiet desert setting.
