Two patterned orange koi fish in a clear plastic bag floating

About this image

This overhead photograph captures two juvenile ornamental koi carp inside a water-filled clear plastic transport bag, floating on the surface of a shallow algae-dappled garden pond for temperature acclimation before release. The fish display distinct bright orange, white, and spotted red patterning, with natural sunlight highlighting their scales above the murky green pond water below. This is a standard hobbyist practice to safely introduce new pet freshwater fish to an existing pond environment.
