9:16 version of my artwork for the Neon Ramen Break Challenge. Inspired by dining at great heights. I honestly thought this one would get more love, so I was a little surprised it wasn’t as well-received. It came in at #42. Ironically, I didn’t think much of my Midnight Projectionist submission, yet it ended up at #18 😂 Final submission: https://budgetpixel.com/p/69555

About this image

This atmospheric cyberpunk illustration depicts a traditional noodle shop perched hundreds of feet above a rain-soaked, glowing neon East Asian megacity skyline after dark. A glamorous woman in a detailed black embroidered qipao sits on a bar stool lifting noodles to eat, while a warm, smiling shopkeeper with a mechanical cyber arm stands behind the worn wood counter across from her. Warm golden lantern light and rising steam from hot ramen contrast sharply with the cool pink and purple neon signage of the skyscraper city stretching out far below, blending futuristic sci-fi styling with cozy street food culture.
