Ironically, even their scripture doesn't back them up. The one or two mistranslated or misapplied verses they use never refer to women at all. They simply fear what they don't understand and that fear leads to hatred. And that hatred makes them cling to these ideas when they ignore almost everything else that was preached in the gospel. Climbs down off of soapbox.
