Stoic muscular barbarian king sits on a fur-lined stone throne

About this image

This dramatic heroic fantasy oil painting depicts a stoic, muscular barbarian king seated atop a heavy carved stone throne, his ornate great sword propped against the throne arm as an elegant robed queen leans intimately against his side holding a gilded wine goblet. The atmospheric torch and candle-lit royal chamber features rich patterned red tapestries, carved marble columns, and a view of cool blue twilight through a rear arch, with warm amber, deep burgundy, and earthy stone tones creating a regal, tense, immersive medieval fantasy mood.
