[Mixed media sketch of a seated woman in a vibrant red robe, holding a playing card between her teeth and looking directly...
This expressive mixed media fine art sketch uses detailed charcoal cross-hatching and soft watercolor washes, with a striking pop of saturated red reserved for the subject's silky flowing robe. The seated female figure with long dark hair appears mid poker game, holding a card between her lips as she shuffles a deck in her hands, with blurred bokeh stage lights creating a moody, cinematic intimate background. The monochrome gray tones of the figure and surroundings contrast sharply with the bold red garment to draw immediate focus to the subject.

Entry in the Theme 1 - Style 501 theme on BudgetPixel.

Tried the style on an iconic scene from an old Hong Kong movie. Love how the effect turns out. Thanks @justrob for sharing the style.
