"Caught in the rain, caught in the heat of action." When I saw the challenge, I knew that many would likely be presenting visuals of people taking shelter under umbrellas or people standing/crying under the rain, so was thinking about how I can present something different. I thought about the famous raining scenes that I have came across before, and somehow the final battle of Neo vs Agent Smith in The Matrix Revolution came to mind. A brawl under the rain would be something refreshing to see, so I decided on a fight scene between the two. I initially wanted to do a fist fight, butlater I experimented with adding umbrellas as weapons and immediately liked it better. To amplify the rain effect, I pivoted it to one party using the umbrellas as a spear and the other blocking it using the unbrealla as a shield. While concepts that deviate too much from what the majority would do usually would end up at the lower end of the rankings, but was still hoping that I could end up on the higher end. End up 15th among 71 entries, and it was a result I am happy with.
