Iridescent sea dragon looms over a female scribe writing

About this image

This dramatic epic fantasy illustration features a massive iridescent scaled sea dragon roaring mid-flight above churning storm-wracked ocean waves, as a female scribe kneels on a rocky outcrop drafting on a parchment scroll with a feather quill. Crackling purple lightning arcs across dark roiling storm clouds, casting dramatic light across the moody, tense scene filled with magical high fantasy tension. Rich, saturated hues of teal, deep indigo, glowing emerald, and warm amber highlight the mythical, otherworldly tone of the confrontation between writer and legendary beast.

This vibrant loose watercolor fantasy illustration features a majestic iridescent East Asian dragon emerging from roiling stormy ocean waves, set against a backdrop of thunderclouds streaked with bright lightning and falling rain. A large cracked magenta heart floats behind the dragon surrounded by tiny floating pink hearts, while a tipped ink jar and vintage fountain pen in the foreground spill rich purple and blue ink across the turbulent surf. The mixed media style blends soft watercolor washes, bold ink splatters, and scribbled sketch marks for a dramatic, whimsical mood perfect for fantasy, creative writing, and mythical creature themes.

This rich, atmospheric dark fantasy artwork features a majestic glowing amethyst dragon emerging from churning storm ocean waves, set against a dramatic twilight sky with a luminous heart-shaped pink cloud, crackling lightning, and a lit cliffside medieval castle. The foreground displays a weathered wooden writing table holding an open handwritten journal, vintage fountain pen, magic message in a bottle, lit lantern, and ink pot, blending cozy cottage fantasy vibes with epic high fantasy adventure. Moody deep purple, magenta, and navy color grading creates an enchanted, romantic mood perfect for desktop wallpaper, fantasy novel art, or wall decor.

I don't know. If she is, she's a much nicer cousin. Thing is she has feathers, not all like draconic wings. Maybe when you turned the dragon into a chicken, and that chicken dragon took human form, that's what she looks like? So now as a human, she's half human and half chicken?

Thank you! Yeah, Recraft really impresses me often. It doesn't listen to my prompt. Like a lot of artists, it only picks out what it likes but I often like the result even if it's not what I asked for. The texture is very cool.

That's why I like it; texture is very important for making it look real.

That's one of the fun things I like about emoji prompts -- just to see how the models interpret them. Also I'm doing prompt shares on X these days. X limits me to 280 characters so when you subtract the names of 4 models, that doesn't leave a lot. These are experiments with models under 120 characters. It's like playing pictionary with the models in way. dragon = 5 characters. 🐲 = 1 character
