Surreal gothic cathedral scene

About this image

This haunting mystical fantasy illustration depicts a grand vaulted gothic cathedral lined with colorful stained glass, where a line of elegant robed, skeletal-headed otherworldly figures stand in ceremonial formation facing a central leading figure. An ornate gilded cosmic portal hangs suspended above the central aisle, glowing with bright blue core light as tiny luminous particles drift through sunlit hazy air over a rippling reflective stone floor. The mood is solemn and reverent, rendered in a soft painterly dreamlike style with a palette of deep black, warm gold, soft cream, and cool ethereal blue accents.
