**I need a score** - Bounty Hunt - 26/71, 1518 ELO, 115 matchups, 53W 59L --- 1 - Submission 2 - While I like it I really wanted the bounty hunter looking at the reward posters. So broke habit and created a second --- I don't think this was my most original or creative entry. Suprised to see it place so well n the ranking, much better than previous challenge results with what I'd consider much stronger entries - OK what I wish were appreciated as much stronger entries but my opinion seems inversely correlated with the majority perspective. Find it interesting to be in the top half with a 47% win rate. Go figure ... No don't ... Trying to figure is an exercise in futility due to the number of random variables in the equation. The system is NOT broken (I stress that as a few people consider it to be soi) It is just not very deterministic due to the variables in the mix

About this image

This cinematic, gritty wild west artwork depicts a weathered cowboy in a worn leather duster and wide brim hat, standing outside a weathered wooden frontier sheriff's office at sunset. Frayed vintage "Dead or Alive" wanted posters listing high cash bounty rewards are nailed to the wall beside him, with his revolver holstered at his hip. Warm golden orange sunset lighting casts dramatic shadows, evoking the tense, atmospheric tone of classic old west outlaw and bounty hunter storytelling.

Cinematic gritty wild west concept art features a scarred, rugged outlaw in a weathered duster and wide brim cowboy hat, leaning against a weathered wooden sheriff station wall covered in tattered dead or alive wanted posters. Warm burnt orange sunset light washes over the dusty frontier town street, highlighting the holstered revolver at the cowboy's hip and casting dramatic, moody shadows across the scene. This evocative illustration captures the tense, high-stakes atmosphere of old west frontier justice and bounty hunting.

Thanks. If by 'better' then you mean results - no, don't see a difference. I think my more creative intrrepretations don't go down well, and while I don't think the rest are better or worse than most top 10s my style doesn't seem to appeal to the majority.

Hmm... if we all feel that way, I'm not sure if the system isn't actually broken after all. 🤔

tvm - not my most original entry

    Welcome to the club!😄

Better as in how an image impacts me. I definitely don't care about votes. That's partly personal aesthetics, what the person thinks the mandate is which many think the pic needs to reflect the example pic, or how they are viewing an image. I've noticed you're doing portrait so I imagine you are getting more votes. I like the first one because there is more of a story there. The billboard looks like it extends off page, and he is looking at the lower right where another bulletin maybe. I do think it would be an improvement if his head was raised and he was looking directly at the wanted poster. He looks similar to that guy so if was looking at it, it would be like he was looking at his own wanted poster. But do I think that would have won you more votes, not really because I cannot judge personal aesthetics globally. The people that can, become influencers because it's a skill.

It's cool. I agree it's a lot better when he's looking at the posters. Love the worn clothes. I see you're doing portrait size now for the challenge. Is that working better?

I like both, and you're right about "my opinion seems inversely correlated with the majority perspective" the same thing happens to me.😄
