Masked post-apocalyptic survivor uses a selfie stick to record…

About this image

This surreal, satirical digital artwork depicts a tattered, masked post-apocalyptic survivor in frayed desert robes holding a selfie stick to film a massive fiery nuclear mushroom cloud rising over a ruined abandoned desert town. Warm golden hazy sunlight, muted dusty tan and burnt orange tones, and crumbling bombed-out concrete buildings set an intense end-of-the-world mood, contrasted by the darkly humorous absurd premise of a survivor documenting a catastrophic nuclear event as if capturing a tourist photo. An empty paved desert highway stretches between wrecked buildings leading toward the billowing explosion on the horizon.
