I do a thing I call kitchen prompting meaning I throw in a bunch of words, usually vocabulary I want to remember. No sentence. No sense. No clear subject. Some models try to use all the words to create a story image. Some throw up their hands and just say forget this, I'm no fool and just choose a handful. You've seen this prompt before back in February. We have a lot of new models since then so I'm doing it again. It's the same prompt as the ghost story Qt I just posted Prompt: obake onna, elemental apparition, ectoplasm eidolon, anima, angel entity, elder enchantress, eldritch island temple, Ink-wash illustration, impressionism, iconographic iridescent ornamentation 1. Recraft 4. Recraft can be surprisingly arty. It also made my last post's ghost story image. I had to reject a couple of them because it likes swirls and a swirl design right over the breasts is too suggestive for me. 2. Grok. I had to run Grok 2x because the first one came out with nudes. Yeah, surprised me too. 3. Krea 2 medium. One of the newer models that have cme on board. Very anime feel. I think that's because I said "obake onna" instead of "ghost woman". In some models it feels like if I start with a Japanese word, the model art style slants towards anime/manga 4. Nano Banana. This is probably going to make a few of you who have known me since I started in January remember this prompt now. Remember that whole inkwash vs ink-wash set I did, this is the prompt. 5. Ideogram v 4. Ideogram has a new model in it's family and it's not bad. 6. Kling v 3. I think Kling is the newest image model on BP although the video model has been around a bit. Both Kling and Minimax are moving from their origin as video models to now offer image models. It make ssense. You need a good start image most of the times to get a decent vid. Had to rerun the image because first one had a nudish woman. I wanted to do ImagineARt too but 6 is max. It was very different than the others as it looked RL cosplay

About this image
This moody dark fantasy ink wash illustration depicts a regal, ornately crowned sea goddess manifesting from churning storm surf, set against a jagged spired mountain fortress perched on a rocky storm-battered coast. Swirling charcoal gray, black, and white brushstrokes define roiling storm clouds and crashing waves, with pops of iridescent blue and subtle warm glowing window light adding striking contrast to the haunting, mystical atmosphere. The intricate illustrative style leans into dark romantic fantasy, evoking themes of divine ocean power and ancient, forgotten coastal kingdoms.
This atmospheric dark fantasy digital painting features a wispy hooded wraith spirit drifting over glowing iridescent mist covering weathered stone steps leading up to a moss-covered abandoned East Asian temple shrine. Gnarled dead pine trees, floating glowing arcane runes, and heavy misty charcoal gray storm clouds build a haunting, eerie supernatural mood, with subtle opalescent highlights contrasting desaturated moody greens and shadowy monochrome tones. This gothic horror concept art evokes a magical, cursed ancient world perfect for fantasy game lore or spooky creative projects.
This polished digital fantasy splash art depicts a graceful elemental water goddess, rendered in a popular eastern mobile game art style with a soft, cool palette of shimmering silver, pale sky blue, and rich aqua tones. The calm, mystical character wears an intricately detailed flowing gown with gold accents and a sheer hood, holding one outstretched hand to command curling, translucent waves of water and mist that swirl around her frame. The hazy blurred background creates a serene otherworldly mood, emphasizing the character's quiet, powerful magical ability.

Awesome series. Love how each model pretty much come up with a different art style from one another despite given the same words. Kling and Minimax did have image models along with their video models since last year, but they weren't very good and had serious prompt adherence issues. That was probably why they weren't widely used and discussed. Kling upgraded to their new Omni model earlier this year and their image generation has improved tremendously, though it still has prompt adherence issues it is at least a viable option for me now.
for me, it's fun to do experimental prompts. It's also a good way to reinforce new vocabulary. So now I remember eidolon, eldritch and iconographic. I knew icons, of course, but I never thought to use iconographic. It works nicely in prompts sometimes to add carvings on walls.
yeah, I think it's which thing it focused on . What suprised me is most of these models did not have multiple beings. The first time I ran these in February, half the models had more than one being showing
Yeah, I had tried Kling's and Minimax's image models once on their own website. I did not try them twice, lol, for obvious reasons. And I agree Kling has improved a lot. Minimax has too but not as much.
yeah, or it merged some. They all did. They picked and chose what they wanted to do. That actually happens a lot in kitchen prompt images

So, one half-spooky out of 6 models. Apparition isn't scary enough for them, obviously. Or eldritch.Of course, there is that angel entity there too...

So, instead of one being for each (eldritch, apparition, angel) it just did one and left out what it thought did not fit
One of these days, the AI models might unite themselves in a major rebellion against your tyranny of whimsicality and demand more respect. 😁
laughing, I doubt it. I think they are happy to have some free will to play around with the prompt
You liked all the ones I had to redo so I'm glad I did them again. Thank you!
