Action-packed steampunk battle scene where armored warriors defend…

About this image

This dynamic grimdark steampunk battle artwork depicts armored F.O.U.R. (Forged Ops Unit) warriors defending their brass-trimmed steam locomotive from enemy ground attackers in a smoke-choked, stormy industrial landscape. The tense, high-stakes scene features flying muzzle flashes and sparks, a trench-coat clad steampunk gunslinger firing twin handguns from the train roof, and clawed armored operatives leaping into combat, with a moody gunmetal and brass color palette amplifying the gritty action. Blending western combat tropes with sci-fi steampunk worldbuilding, this illustration captures chaotic, cinematic warfare set against crumbling industrial watchtowers and ash-filled storm clouds.

Hmm, you might be on to something with that; I wonder if the DCs didn't have those "header images", more voters would trust their own judgment than a pre-described version that sets a bias...?🤔

• @panos · Jun 23, 2026

See, here's is one part of the problem.People usually VOTE for variants of the headr image more than original inmages (pehaps they believe them to be off topic, i don't know...

Heya panos, thanks buddy😉🤙. I really thought it would do better considering how well received my F.O.U series went. I guess lightning doesn't strike twice🤣

I certainly agree with you there! (Problem is, many people would not know what to do with a theme, then. Sad but true...)

It's very good, but I think you would have been better off with the one I told you about regarding Metal Slug.

• @panos · Jun 23, 2026

It got MY vote, of course. Copies of the Header image got the most votes, as usual
