About this image

This menacing digital horror illustration depicts a jiangshi, the iconic Chinese hopping vampire from classic East Asian folklore, floating threateningly above misty cloud cover against a gradient twilight purple-blue sky. The undead creature features an exposed skeletal torso, glowing red menacing eyes, long clawed limbs, a tattered traditional deep red robe with swirling crimson patterns, and a signature Qing-style mandarin hat, staying true to the spooky supernatural lore of this legendary Chinese monster. This original comic-style dark art captures the eerie energy of one of Asian mythology’s most recognizable horror figures, ideal for folklore enthusiasts and horror art collectors.
