Original QT: Towers --- I am reading Wheel of Time at the moment so the White Tower at Tar Valon top of mind. Made me think of towers in Lord of the Rings. Did a little Gemini chatting and added Merlin's and the Univerity from Discworld. When you think towers, what comes to mind? Could be more fantasy or perhaps real life?

About this image

Epic fantasy cover art featuring four distinct spires—fiery volcano-red castle, icy blue tower, ancient ruin leaning over lava, and a crystal-clear fortress—surrounding a central bronze emblem that reads “The Four Spires.” The contrasting warm and cool tones create a dramatic, cinematic mood, suggesting a world of magic, conflict, and epic quests.

Grand architecture in fantasy never fails to inspire adventure, whether they be centers of learning or ominous doom🤩

Fantasy towers spark like lanterns in my mind ✨ Minas Tirith and Hogwarts climb the skyline just fine 🏰

For sure, that's a classic. A tower is not just a tower in fantasy, certainly can be so different
