Corporate businesswoman wearing a witch hat flies on a broomstick — AI art by @DavidP

**Flying to work** --- Magic in Everyday Life - 53/67, 42.0%, 34W 47L --- I got what I deserved, didn't have time to think about the challenge so reused an old idea. Saw a few others similar, one of which placed 4th with the addition of a magic carpet commuter. Lots of household chores being performed magically, including 2 great versions in the top 3 I think I may be starting to feel some challenge fatigue, as I've not found the last few particularly inspiring. That said, my stats show me that participation has improved, other than one notable exception being the 'Black & White' theme. I really liked that theme and enjoyed the variety of creative expression in the submissions. Confirms that maybe I am that proverbial salmon that swims upstream 🤣

tvm. True, could have gone that route with a backback. I also see ladies change into work shoes when they get out their car. But maybe it would not have sold the office commute idea as well?

oh darn! I was hoping a new word. @panos did a typo of a -punk word dieselpunk, and typed fieselpunk. Turns out fielselpunk is a new word coined by a game designer, lol

She's cool. I like her office outfit with the matching witch hat. It's fun. Although I don't know why more people don't have modern witches wearing pants or shorts. I used to bike to work and would change into a skirt at the office because it's difficult to ride in a skirt. AI made too many taxis tho. Other than the taxi lineup, good scene.

Dude! I voted for it! It made me laugh, although I think it might have a controversial double meaning these days, calling women witches. I know that wasn't your intention and maybe you didn't even think of it that way, but that might have influenced why it didn't get enough votes. Anyway, it's what we always talk about, I ended up way lower than you.

Oh, I voted for that. Me, I always leave the vhallenge for the last moment, which mesns at the end of a creative day here and usually my creativity is depleted at that point. I find that themes which certainly would have triggered a brainstorm in me, don't make an impression.

Sorry for not voting on this. I think the concept is good but issue is with the execution - somehow the witch doesn"t seem to integrate well with the realistic city setting to me. But this is just my personal take, apologies if I am being too nitpicking.

And I totally can relate to the challenge fatigue but somehow it still draws people to continue participating. I was on a short holiday and I thought I could take a break from the challenge, but I still could not help to come up with something and take part in it.

yeah, you're right. It might have given more of an X-files or Men in Black vibe if she was wearing pants and had the tie. Is backback a typo for backpack? or is it a word? I'm always looking for new words so I thought I'd check

Very cool, I remember it from the votings 😎👍 I'm pretty sure, I voted for it 😁
