So it sounds like it started out well? and then went down? That happens to me a lot. I think USA eve/night there are a lot of people viewing on the ir monitors so they can see things bigger and see details better. Daytime my losses start stacking up and I think tht's because the phone votes start kicking in. Most of the time they need a simpler bolder look.

@EternaSky Possibly would have helped. I usually translate things on the feed but in contest voting I quickly evaluate the images and pick one. The people who can read Japanese likely already knew what it was.

this is great! I voted for it. My own, a very, VERY generic one, which I whipped up in a moment just to make an entry, ended up 51 - deservedly so. Yours should be much higher.

Very cool! I love yokai and voted for them everytime I saw them but I don't think I saw this one.

Beautiful image. I think many, me included, didn't know what these images were. I looked it up just now.

Thanks. Yes, I looked it up just now, but I didn't understand what it was during voting.

Can't believe this is ranked so low! People prefer happier monsters and more colourful parades?

• @EternaSky · May 27, 2026

Its the japanese monster parade or “night parade of a hundred yokai”

• @EternaSky · May 27, 2026

yea i probably shouldn't have left the description in japanese
