Well, after all thies years and all these nooks, i do too! But if I read a plot element or a scene of a book I am going to read - even months later it just WON'T go away!

Also a bunch of publishers here (and there I suppose) have gotten advantage of this and are publishing books like that on the cheap - for them. (Algernon Blackwood, W.H. Hodgson and others)
