I used my sketch as a starter in grok to make the video (back when grok has 20 free videos daily. Having that many free ones meant I could keep correcting my prompt until I got something good). Image 2 is my original sketch during Inktober 2025. The other 2 images were done on NC using my sketch as a starter image. The thing I found out was that your sketch doesn't have to be great to make a cool image. My original sketch was for inktober 2025, Day 1 (yeah, it's not great but I haven't sketched in ages so at least I tried. It wasn't as bad as I feared it would be tho)

Using my (really bad sketch) to make an AI image & vid. I think some of you might be interested in that as maybe some of you draw. @anyafoxx @Hephzibah @faerierealm @Bobbie @DavidP @Sealine @antares @archangeltara @base451121 @Biscuit @charlypalermo @justrob @dirty_biker @paulie @EternaSky @legion @ashikaga_takauji @elkanthe @marcoshy @mim86 @NielsCarlsen @PabloArtStation @southamericanmyth @strixowl-47 @sr92 @standartis @suga2309 @TesaranJ @TheBard @Troxley @TTRPG_Player @underman @Unleashed @vrieming @winter_witch @user_google_792666 @user_google_961350

I think img-to-img should be able to do that too once you have a good prompt sorted out. I drew my sketch tho so that's why it's a bit lopsided. It's not too bad tho considering I hadn't drawn anything in years (think decades!). I should do it more. I improved a bit in 30 days. Not to how good I was in high school tho. I used to draw all the time back then.

...well, I have an issue with a comic series, 2 pages same prompt, half of one is great, half of the other, the same. It would be great to splivce the good halfs together, that's what I had in mind yesterday, being kinda frustrated. Today, though, I can't see how to send you these images, without posting them, so...

Probably have to put on my ten-year-old-artist hat and make some new ones. Come to think of it, I doubt I have actually saved any of those artistic gems from my early life. If I have, they would be in a dusty cardboard box somewhere in my mom's house back in the old country. 😄

Mostly because you don't do it. sketching requires practice. but you don't have to be good for AI. You can use your stickfigure sketch as a startimage. I just uploaded my stickfigure deer and the images that and video that came from it. I thought the watercolor was especially nice

user_google_961350

My stick figures are much more stickly than yours here. They are literally just single lines for the torso and the limbs, and I'm not sure AI will recognize what those lines are. Maybe I should give it a try and see what happens. 😀

ok, I only have a starter paid account. To create a room you need a premium or higher account. Do you know anyone with that level membership who could create a room for us? They could call it Grimoires & Quests or something like that

<sigh....> ...I 'll never live down this pizza-guy-wizard business... Ok, orders, anyone....(OOOPS, @CalyaCatz I think I need help here! Can you do, cut?copy/paste on photoshop of different images? Specifiacaly I ask because I have an issue with comic book page panels here. Please respond!!)

CaylaCatz

What? You're going to bring in pizza and not even share??? You're depriving the kid of the taste of a lifetime. She's never had pizza. Oh no! She's glaring again. She does seem to do that a lot.

I can draw all right. Stick figures are my specialty, although one of my uncles, who is a professional artist, thinks my prowess in that art genre has been on the decline since I was about 10 years old. 😁
