The answer is very simple: I do not know how a lot of features work on this platform and had no idea there was any tangible benefit to the author from the amount of claps until you told me. I clapped because I wanted free credits for clapping, and for the clapper only the amount of different blogs counts, not the amount of claps on a single blog. Thanks for letting me know, I'll clap better next time :)

Fabulous series, love the matt colouring --- Hope you don't mind, but I am curious. Thanks for the view of my blog and 1 clap. WRT 1 clap not 20 I'd like to understand for sake of learning: is that because you consider the quality of the blog to be worth 1/20? Or are you unaware you can clap 20 times (I'm told that no everybody knows this)? --- It takes only a few more seconds, doesn't mean anything more for you but for a Blog Poster, the credit rewards are given for receiving 100 and 500 claps. To achieve 500 pretty much requires people clapping to gift the 20 claps. --- Again, just curious, not intending any criticism, judgement or lack of gratitude.

Thanks for sharing. Appreciate you receiving my question in the spirit intended. Such conversation is how we learn. They changed the system, at an early point, every clap counted for the clapper, now it is as you say. --- Want a fast way to get your claps. When I have visited all the new blogs in recent and still need more visits then I simply click a blog, clap once, click the Blog option in the op menu bar which refreshs the screen in with the blog open and clap again. Repeat until enough claps givem --- now never too late, please revisit and clap 19 more times https://budgetpixel.com/blog/late-night-club
