Well what I voted for was a scene. The aurora and soemthing else in it, some action happening; second choice was a person or animal in the pic even if no action; third choice was just aurora. What I noticed in the winners was a big glorious aurora only with more than one color; but the other 2 had a person. I think you would have needed one more color in the aurora, not too much tho. If you look at the top 10, the aurora look alike in shape but those are more colorful than most of the ones that are just green (like mine, sighs). I think you would have done well tho. The composition in #1 especially is particularly good with the front rocks looking big and mountains looking small. Ansel Adams used to do that. On the other hand. Who knows. It's always a gamble

I do too. Me too. So I had post-apocalyptic desert nomads instead of modern Sahara. That's why I like blogging. The more unique you are, the more people start to remember you and maybe, just maybe start seeking them out. The DC for some reason feeds my slot machine urges, lol.

The thing about this number 1 image, each time I see it, I like it more. It's restful but has a hint of tension. cool
