The Bards lute has been fixed by an elven wizard, who is a friend of a very clever, very wise, very, VERY handsome Wizard. It looks great ... and is perhaps not having an evil personality now and perhaps not holding a grudge against some people, who knows. @panos, @DavidP , @CaylaCatz

😁 yeah, some wizard fixed it and Stargazers cousin, who is a very clever, very wise, very, VERY handsome Wizard teleported it back to him. I will have to find out, what it can do now ... when some ominous wizards fix something, you never know, what you get 😁 and like it was an elven wizard, I am sure he took care to preserve the soul of the lute 😁

I said as much to Panos who spoke of reading it in Greek. I think if your English is good enough it is best to read it in English for that reason. But n the other hand, English is swine of a language and it might still not be as obvious as it is to me. And also in some of the books you need some relevant general knowledge. Like I found Soul Music hilarious with all the 60s/70s music references which I suspect my son would have missed

Oh it looks so pretty! Fixed? I wonder if it can play itself? can it retract it's legs like a cat can retract its claws? Then maybe you won't feel like you are playing a spider? If it doesn't retract it's legs and it can play itself then ... you can play a duet iwth your own luate!!!

Indeed a legend RIP ... I was reading it in german and it was also funny, but sometimes, when something didn't make a lot of sense, I had to translate it to english in my head and then it was mostly a play on words, which is fun in English but just doesn't work in a translation 😅

Thank you very much 😊 yeah ... don't know yet, what to do ... don't want to get eaten by my lute after midnight, when it awakes 😳 And I didn't get a manual with it, so I don't know, if I have to feed it ... but not after midnight or so 😳

🤣 probably not unless an anomaly connect this world with Discworld. Role-play aside - you read Terry Pratchett Discworld. Panos and I have had lengthy chats about books we've read - got a reall venn diagram there with a large intersection 🤣

Yeah, I have read them ... but that's quite long ago 😅 And if we are ever out of ammo, we can make it like Rincewind and use an old sock with half a brick inside. 🧦🧱

As long as you don't use the guitar 🤣 I think Pratchett was fabulous, the humour and we he explored so many contemporary things iin the setting of Discworld. A legend RIP
