Yeah, I stopped doing the NC dailies. Since they dropped the credit award, it's not work it to have to do 40 votes. It's saving me credits too. I hadn't realized how many credits I'd use to get an image I liked for the daily. So now I'm building up more credits than when I used to do it. It was nice tho. One time I got 4th. That's the best I ever did.

I get an idea stuck in my head sometimes ... and if the AI disagrees with me, it can be an expensive fight, lol. Top 5% is nice. Hard to do. Congrats. You remember my 4th place? really?

Thank you! I made it for another one of paulie's NC challenges -- 1960s comic book covers. I just joined it for the first time today. I doubt I'll win but it's fun to make.

....usually, I just use a ready-prompt from the NC-daily provided, so no real credz cost. I have some first 5% placings, but 4th place?!!! Wow!!! (I think I remember that, btw, when you got 4th place)

<sigh> I took part in it couple of times - good results, too! Alas, at the time, taking part in the DC on NC is all I can - barely - handle... 😔

• @panos · Apr 12, 2026

...I'm pretty sure I do - can't be somebody else I know on NC who had such a huge success on a DC

I think some people develop a knack for it. I visited someone's page and they have several 1sts!

• @CaylaCatz · Apr 13, 2026

Me too! It boggles my mind that they figured out how to do that.

• @CaylaCatz · Apr 12, 2026

thank you! it's fun to make people smile.

  ...Yeah....that...I don't know how they do that.....😕
