Apunkalypse: a broad trope used by tvtrope.org to cover all those shows that have an apunkalypse: an apocalypse followed by gangs of lawless punks the same fashion sense terrorizing everybody until a hero rises (or gets volunteered or accidentally beats the punks through sheer clumsiness or luck). Apunkalypse's such a perfect word. TV Trope's description of an apunkalypse: "Societies rise, fall, and collapse. Thus has it been throughout history. In fact, according to this trope, it seems all societies degenerate into lawlessness with punks and other toughs roaming the streets (or waves; thank you, Kevin Costner) and doing naughty things After the End of civilization." https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheApunkalypse

"Bonnie Tyler belts out "Holding out for a hero!" I think what is needed in THIS world is Tina Tunrer's "We don't need another Hero" You know why, and THAT particular hero is certainly needed here!
