For a war picture, I like this one better than the other one. The cool tones reflect the feeling of damp and misery of being in the trenches. I don't like the helmet as well as other one as his ears are forced down. The boots and uniform are great. I like the cigarette better in the other. But overall, I think this is the better rabbit in a war image.

This one to me is as if a real rabbit had been recruited, albeit a very big rabbit. The uniform and equipment is very real, as is the mud and the trench scene. The other one feels like a scene from Peter Rabbit (the movie). Thanks Kayla!

I agree with your assessment. It's difficult to imagine Peter Rabbit in a warfront because war is pretty bleak; I'd imagine Peter more on the British homefront. Maybe working on one of the farms that they sent the city children to keep them safe. Tho no place was really safe as there were bombing raids too.

The leggings are fantastic, the Lee Enfield rifle is perfect and I love the mud. Zoom in Matt, his shoulder patch for his regiment, you can actually read it. His rank isn't quite right on his epaulette isn't quite right for a captain, but close.
