I agree there are not as many active folks but I think that's changing. The first couple of Daily Challenges, the people I saw in it were all people I already knew but lately the people joining has been a much bigger group, quite a few I'm seeing for the first time. I suspect people were just creating before and not talking. I think that changed a bit when they added a few more replies to the string. But yeah, it does feel like BP is fairly new compared to places like NC and others. One way you can tell is that they listen when people give suggestions. You don't see that on places that have been established a few years. So as people make suggestions to make the platform more soical & community friendly and some of them get implemented, I think we'll start seeing more engagements. Some things that work while it is small like the QT challenges, won't work as well when there are more people involved so they will evolve to something easier. Other things will work and last.

Both places have their pluses and minuses. I think NC is much better for socializing. You can chat in replies -- I have yet to hit an end point their -- so it's easier to have fuller conversations there. But BP has the blogs and the description above the image so you can read the first paragraph if there is one. As a person who reads, I like that. So it's a mixed bag. I am not that motivated by NSFW images as that's not my thing. I don't care if I end up making one but I generally don't seek to. I do like getting autorated right away tho. Seeing the rating helps to learn the platform's standards and that's a good thing. I think if NC autorated that would clear up some issues people have.

Oh I never see NSFW on NC since I have a safe account so I didn't know it was a problem. I do agree there is some problems with a free account, especially not having use of the better models. I did the half off sale at Black Friday (and because Flux was free for a month) on the first tier $5/mo annual and the difference was like night and day. I do like in BP as a free users, I have more ways to make credits and I can spend them how I like. So I can see why for a free user BP would be much much better

  • @CaylaCatz ·

Thank you! I really appreciate your feedback and comment. This was a tough one. Took awhile because the AI for some reason wanted her and the cannons pointing away from the kraken. I tried different models and kept tweaking the prompt. I'm glad I finally got it to work. I noticed you added some blog posts. I'll keep an eye and try to get you to 200 when you get close if I haven't already done 20 claps. I think all of them you already got 50 so that's good. It's no biggie because I get credits daily for clapping too.

  • @mim86 ·

One of the reasons I have been backing away from NC is because there seems to be just too much NSFW there now. And, they are not very kind to free users. We cannot use the better models, the credits are virtually worthless if you want to make anything decent in real life images (I have over 7k), as a free user I cannot gift credits to others and I can't make videos

  • @CaylaCatz ·

Yeah, I think that's the one that was at 194 so I gave it my daily 10. I don't think we get any more credits after reaching 200. I've reached 1000 on my song challenge and the 200 was tops. Still the credits for blogs are more than generous at 50 and 200 so I was surprised at that. I like blogging my experiments so I can remember why I liked some results a week later, lol.

  • @mim86 ·

@CaylaCatz that, is the big difference for me, how BP treats free users as opposed to NC. Many people just shrug and say, just go Pro. But it isn't as simple as that. Some folks simply can't afford it and some, like me, don't use electronic banking. I don't even own a credit card.

This looks exactly like the QT list I put together from Dirty_Biker and Eternasky. Did you make any change to it? Is that why you repasted it? I checked it but I can't find any changes. It looks exactly like my list. I'm wondering if I'm missed seeing a name but I did check twice.
