Posted this a couple months ago on another site, but I love the song and I love the image, so I recreated it here. "The Devil and Billy Markham" is a narrative song by country music legend Bobby Bare, released on November 13, 2012, as part of his album Darker Than Light. The track is an adaptation of a long-form poem by Shel Silverstein, originally published in Playboy magazine in 1979.

About this image

A dark fantasy western scene depicts a demon in a sharp suit facing a weathered cowboy in a dusty saloon. The moody chiaroscuro lighting and smoky atmosphere emphasize the supernatural confrontation near the bar sign that reads “Linebaugh’s Bar.” This dramatic, horror-inspired illustration blends western grit with supernatural tension, highlighting red-eyed menace, rustic setting, and a tense standoff.

I'm sure I could make noise, but a song might be beyond my skillset.
