Decaying undead samurai draws monster sketches in an open book

About this image

This atmospheric dark fantasy illustration depicts a rotting undead samurai in tattered feudal armor, drawing grotesque monster sketches in an aged open journal at a scuffed wooden table. He holds a steaming bowl of hot rice, warm golden lantern light contrasting with cool full moon glow coming through the window behind him. The mood is uncanny and gothic, blending traditional Japanese yokai folklore with horror art styling.
