He discovered his future while researching the past.

Entry in the Time Paradox challenge.

About this image

This tense, uncanny archaeological scene depicts a mud-stained expedition paleontologist kneeling in disbelief at a cave excavation site, staring at his own identical fossilized skeleton embedded in dirt next to a massive Tyrannosaurus rex skull. Warm golden light from work lamps and overhead cave openings illuminates boot prints, excavation tools, and expedition gear, building an eerie time paradox mood.

Well done on top 10. As I scroll down the top 20, I'd say this is my winner. The only one so far that illustrates a time paradox.

This was well done AND on theme. More than I can say for most. Should have been the winner imo.

I agree, I think it was the only time paradox image in the top 20. And then there was mine in the bottom 20 🤣 Can't recall others, perhaps missed them in voting

Honestly I wasn't expecting - I saw what I expected to see. Maybe majority didn't know what a time paradox (or even a paradox) is, so just followed the guide of the description.

Thank you David, I'm glad you're seeing what I saw. I was expecting more paradoxes too.
