Silhouette of Lord Krishna playing flute

About this image

This mystical devotional illustration shows Lord Krishna playing his flute, silhouetted against a bright full moon with the multi-headed Shesha serpent fanned out behind him. Deep purple twilight skies and hazy misty mountain silhouettes frame the scene, with soft rippled reflections of the figure glowing across the still dark lake. The mood is serene, sacred, and evocative of the Hindu myth of Krishna taming the Kaliya serpent.
