About this image
This dramatic renaissance-style fantasy artwork depicts a medieval armored king on a white horse extending a hand in greeting to a slender grey alien stepping from a glowing metallic UFO. Warm golden lamplight illuminates the tense, surreal meeting, as medieval soldiers and clergy look on in awe from the king's side. The scene blends classic historical painting aesthetics with retro sci-fi first contact themes for a striking alternate history vision.
