THE VAMPIRE FROM VENUS! 🧛‍♂️🛸 Straight from the pages of a forgotten 1957 sci-fi horror magazine! An alien vampire, a glamorous heroine, a mysterious flying saucer, and a whole lot of trouble from outer space. I've always loved the charm of vintage horror and sci-fi, especially those outrageous pulp covers with dramatic illustrations, terrifying monsters, and sensational headlines. This is my little tribute to that golden age of pulp fiction, where imagination ran wild and every cover promised a story too bizarre to resist. Would you have picked up this magazine back in 1957?

About this image

This dramatic retro sci-fi horror pulp magazine cover uses bold saturated red, purple, and golden yellow hues for maximum campy vintage flair. It depicts a distressed woman in a silky red evening gown clutching a dagger to fend off a green fanged alien vampire, with a flying saucer, gothic castle, and mad science lab in the background. The illustration is a perfect example of classic midcentury pulp horror art styling.

This vibrant retro pulp horror illustration is the cover for the October 1957 issue of Strange Terror, advertising the story The Vampire from Venus. Bold saturated colors of deep red, dark purple, and bright fiery yellow define the dramatic scene, where a green fanged alien vampire looms over a wide-eyed woman clutching a small defensive knife. The background features a flying saucer, gothic alien castle, and vintage lab equipment, leaning into classic campy 1950s sci-fi horror tropes.
