The Exclusion Zone: the purple glow

How did it get to this point ? Let's find out. A week ago, a rift opened up in the air and a meteorite or let's say, a piece from a different world fell out of it. Carrying with it the radiation, the vibration and the memory of it's own world. Where it fell, it started to change the environment, transforming everything into something respembling its home world. Changing animals and plants ... ... making them stronger, meaner, hungrier. Spreading and changing everything in it's way. The weak perish and the strong ones getting stronger, adapting, changing ... evolution, not over millions of years and generations, but in merly hours. Evolving into the perfect predator ... some of them bigger, some of them stronger and faster and all of them getting smarter over time. And over all of it lays this eerie purple glow from another world, always present. Beautiful at day, when the changed animals are to be found nowhere, with all the growing and spreading nature on the lands that used to be devastated and desolate ... ... eerie glowing at night, when the purple radiation in the air even makes the moonlight appear different ... In the night, the monstrosities are hunting everything, that is weaker than themselves. Devouring all the Stalkers in their area. And while one Stalker might have escaped and the other Stalkers are starting to prepare for battle by creating special amunition ... The Exclusion Zone: A New Menace The Exclusion Zone: The Gunsmith 1/5 ... the monstrosities, which devoured humans started to absorb the DNA and mutating and evolving even farther ... Especially the female from the first wolves pack, which got transformed, who allready always has been the smartest of them, devoured a female scientist from Clear Sky, which was in the area with some Stalkers to take some samples. This made her evolve even much further than her brethren and she became even much smarther than the others. She became their Alpha ... ... she became their queen ... And the queen does not tolerate weekness in her kingdom ... also not these weekling humans at the northern border of her kingdom. So she send her loyal subjects to clean this region and bring everything usefull to her, especially these humans, which will help her subjects to evolve. And so ... ... we got to the picture, that we started with in the Newspaper ... And now ? Now she is waiting. She is waiting for rifts! The influence of the purple glow only covers some miles in diameter. The meteor, that is now in the possession of the demon queen, only has this reach. She is waiting for other rifts to open to the world from where the meteor came from, so that they can get more material from there and spread the the purple glow even further. She will send her subjects to every rift that opens in her sourroundings. When it is a rift to the right place, they will try to recover more purple glowing material, before the rift closes again. If it is not comming from this world, they will try to capture powerfull specimens to devour and acquire their power. Meanwhile, the higher evolved of them are adapting to resist human technology.
