First image to Contest Entry

My latest challenge entry for 'Zero-G Chef' wasn't a serious entry. It was a throwback to my early days at BudgetPixel and the first challenge I entered here. Back then it was called a campaign and they were on Discord. I'm not sure how many there were before I joined the site, but this was the first I particpated in. She didn't even make the final of that challenge (nor did my other two entries as it was unlimited entries back then). I sometimes used the prompt enhance feature back then and it was very wordy! No need to read it but here it is. Just recommend skipping to the early images after. Full-length, ultra-detailed photorealistic portrait of a stunning alien woman standing in a retro 1950s kitchen, framed at eye-level with a slight three-quarter turn to emphasize her cheerful, open posture. She has smooth pale green skin, a narrow elegant jawline, pointed elf-like ears, and very large expressive eyes whose irises swirl with a luminous mix of purple, green and blue. Her fuller lips are a slightly deeper shade of green, drawn into a wide, warm smile. Delicate white glowing freckles scatter across her cheeks and the bridge of her nose, subtly bioluminescent. Bright purple hair styled in a glossy, perfect 1950s wave, with visible hair texture and soft highlights. She wears an authentic 1950s housewife outfit: a fitted blue-and-white polka-dot dress with a nipped waist and full skirt, a crisp white lace-trimmed apron, and white high heels; fabrics show realistic weave, stitching, and slight wear at the hems. She holds a wooden spoon in one hand and a white ceramic mixing bowl in the other, filled with smooth light-blue batter with glossy surface reflections. The retro kitchen features light blue-green cabinets with chrome handles, a vintage chrome toaster and mint-green refrigerator in the background, a sunlit window with lace curtains, and a black-and-white checkered floor with subtle reflections. Warm, soft directional morning light from the window creates gentle rim lighting and soft shadows; slight cinematic color grading leans pastel and nostalgic. Emphasize skin texture, fabric folds, material reflections (ceramic, wood, chrome), and the subtle glow of her freckles and irises. Highly detailed, sharp, 8K resolution, shallow depth of field that keeps her full figure in focus while gently softening background elements for a cinematic, vintage advertising feel. Left was Flux 1.1 pro and right was Seedream 4. Here were two other early versions I did not submit. Left was Lucid-origin-standard and right was seedream 4.5 After this, the prompt was shelved for a long time. I dug it up again after GPT 1.5 was released. Left and middle were GPT 1.5 low and right was GPT 1.5 medium. Medium was not my go to for that model! Since I had all these older images, I decided to try this prompt in newer models to see how they compare. Thought it might be especially interesting since it is such an overly detailed prompt from prompt enhance. It's pretty obvious with massive amount of details, there is little room for the models to fill in the gaps. GPT 2.0 low (left) and medium (right) Grok low (left) and medium (right) Left and middle are muse-image-1 (low and high but not sure which is which since I generated at the same time and it is not specified). Right is seedream 5 pro. For the Zero G chef challenge I stumbled on this image when searching 'chef' and ended up using one of the GPT 1.5 low images as the reference. I did some back forth with chat GPT before creating here at BudgetPixel and below is what I entered in the challenge. This one ended up placing 18th. In hindsight, there are definitely things I could have done differently to try to meet the 'chef' part of the challenge and aspects I could have improved on the image in general. However, I don't regret doing something different than the mainstream expected images. To finish off this blog and put this challenge to rest, I decided to animate the image. Below your will find the seedance 2.0 mini version: If you enjoyed this blog (or just want to help me earn credits) please give me the max 20 claps!
