Surreal rainbow striped elephant stands

About this image

This whimsical eerie surrealist painting depicts a lumpy, brightly striped rainbow elephant with bulging red eyes standing next to a formally dressed skeleton wearing a top hat. The pair occupy a hazy, dreamlike wild landscape dotted with tall red carnivorous pitcher plants, under soft warm toned cloudy skies. The textured painterly style leans into weird, playful fantasy with striking contrasting saturated and muted earth tones.
