En realidad el significado va por otro lado. Se dice cuando uno se fue de fiesta, o hizo algo en donde la pasó bien, y al otro dia estas con resaca o te duele todo. Y viene de que hace muchos años, al que trasnochaba se le decia Calavera, suupongo que porque estaba todo chupado y ojeroso
