About this image

This dramatic dark fantasy Halloween artwork shows panicked medieval villagers running for their lives from a menacing army of wraiths, glowing-eyed hellhounds, and a gnarled undead forest ruler. The mood is chaotic and terrifying, lit by warm jack-o-lantern fire, cool moon glow, and burning flames from a hilltop gothic castle and ruined stone abbey. Hyper-detailed painterly rendering uses deep stormy blue tones contrasted with fiery orange highlights, with roiling mist wrapping ancient celtic gravestones and weathered stone bridges.
