Pedestrians walk through deep drifting snow

About this image

This moody atmospheric scene captures a quiet small town neighborhood in the midst of a heavy winter blizzard, with thick fresh snow blanketing the street, home roofs, and front yards. Warmly dressed residents move slowly through deep snow drifts, as blowing snow creates a soft hazy overcast atmosphere stretching past rows of traditional gabled wooden homes. The muted cool palette of soft white, pale gray, and wood tones evokes the quiet hush of a severe ongoing winter storm.
