Faint pencil outline sketch of a corpse flower titan arum on plain drawing paper
This soft preliminary pencil line drawing captures the distinct shape of a titan arum, also called corpse flower, with its tall central spadix and ruffled frilled spathe. The delicate faint linework is rendered on plain off-white paper as a work in progress botanical study. The monochrome sketch focuses on the unique structural form of this rare flowering plant.
Biomechanical cyberpunk alien flower growing from rubble in vivid ink and watercolor illustration
This surreal sci-fi illustration depicts a towering biomechanical alien bloom, glowing neon green and purple circuitry winding through ruffled deep crimson petals. The gritty hand-drawn ink art uses watercolor splatter and drip effects, set against a hazy dark background dotted with glowing neon halos. Twisted mechanical root tendrils curl around discarded broken tech and glowing alien undergrowth for a moody eerie cyberpunk aesthetic.

This vivid mixed media artwork depicts a dramatic corpse flower, or titan arum, with ruffled turquoise petals trimmed in bright magenta and a tall textured golden central spadix. The moody dark teal background is scattered with chaotic, vibrant ink splatters, drips, and tiny gold starburst accents that lend the piece a dynamic, whimsical gothic energy. Bold ink linework and watercolor wash textures create a rich maximalist fantasy botanical style.

Inktober 2026 Day 8 : Stinky Note: #4 is the real flower photo from Wiki to compare 1. My original drawing. My battery was low so no flash. Original sketch to image set the next set is my original drawing in image to image plus this prompt: "full color, inkpunk" color is important to mention or you end up with black/gray and white like your sketch 2. nano banana 2.1 (45 credit) 3. muse 1.0 (12 credit) I drew the Amorphophallus Titanum aka the Corpse Flower. So to see if the AI understood what I drew, first I am showing you the real flower. 4. the real flower from Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amorphophallus_titanum . New York Botanical Garden corpse flower in bloom June 27, 2018 photographed by Sailing moose, CC BY-SA 4.0 <https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0>, via Wikimedia Commons the next set is my original drawing in image to image plus this prompt: "full color, photorealistic" 5. nano banana 2.1 (45 credit) 6. muse 1.0 (12 credit) The models correctly identified what I was drawing. Amorphophallus titanum (commonly known as the Titan Arum or Corpse Flower): A. It typically takes 7 to 10 years for a single plant to store up enough energy in its massive underground root (called a corm) to bloom for the very first time. B. When it finally blooms, the massive flower opens for only 24 to 48 hours before collapsing and rotting away. C. It uses chemical thermogenesis to heat itself up to 100°F (38°C) so it can literally cook and project its stench into the air to attract flesh flies and carrion beetles. Scientists have analyzed the scent and found notes of rotting fish, sweaty socks, garlic, and limburger cheese October is Inktober month where people are challenged to do one ink drawing a day. You can find the list of this year's prompt on the Inktober site. There are other daily drawing prompt sites https://inktober.com/rules

You are great ad drawing! Cool flower, I founded when I ggolged what the largest flower bloom is. Very intressting flower since it tries to attract flesh flies 👍

CaylaCatz

yeah, the corpse flower is pretty rare I think. It can stink so much people don't really want it growing in their gardens, lol

legion

It is; plus, I’ve seen that one thousands of times in real life, but never the other one, haha.

Well, when I saw your drawing, I thought of this flower: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zantedeschia_aethiopica

I agree it is a very interesting flower. We have one in an Arizona botanical garden. It bloomed a couple of years ago so no bloom now for at least 5 years. ---The Botanischer Garten Berlin has one and it has record bloom in 2025 at 2.36 meters. They are rare but a few places in Germany have them. --- The one in Dortmund was stolen in 2025 tho. How does one steal a flower with a root weing 44 and 66 pounds (20 to 30 kg)? People are so strange. I hope they didn't accidentally kill it. The city never got it back. That's very sad.
