Catwalk: walking along the dark, rocky shoreline of Inostrantsev Bay in Novaya Zemlya, Russia on Monday. Thank you @panos for the suggestion! Where would you like to go to next? Brünnich’s Guillemots & Little Auks: These are small, chubby black-and-white seabirds that look like a cross between a penguin and a duck. Atlantic Walruses: The Russian Arctic National Park is famous for its walrus rookeries.

Six degrees? That doesn't seem so cold to me anymore; it gets like that here sometimes in winter, even in the city. I don't know why I thought it would be at least -20 there, haha.

it's going to get colder soon. So I wouldn't hurry to visit it. I don't like cold.
