Giant sorrowful wooden marionette holds a solar eclipse above a masquerade carnival parade in a medieval city square
This eerie surreal fantasy scene depicts a towering carved wooden marionette with a sad cracked face holding a total solar eclipse suspended from puppet strings high above a cobblestone gothic city square. Masked jester performers in rich crimson and ivory renaissance costumes march with drums and brass instruments beneath glowing lanterns and red and white festival bunting. The mood is haunting and ceremonial, blending dark baroque aesthetic with uncanny fantasy elements, lit by warm golden lamplight and the faint glow of the eclipse corona.
