Surreal fantasy crossover of Casablanca characters, an anthropomorphic cat, and a shocked wizard in a Moroccan night market
This whimsical hand-drawn surreal mashup blends classic Casablanca romance, cute anime fantasy, and high wizard tropes set in a moonlit North African market street. The warm illustrated style features deep indigo night skies, blue tiled architecture, glowing street lamps, and sparkling magic effects cast by the friendly cat character. Kitty's Magic Does It Again!!! Today, @CaylaCatz 's Kitty took a walk in Casablanca (As per mu suggestion) I commented that perhaps she would meet Humphery there and Cayla said that he would miss Ingrid. Well, Kitty may look a just a simple cute little cat, but she actually has great magic at her disposal - the magig of joy kindness and happiness. So, she cast her spell and behold! the two timeless lovers are together again! A certain Very Clever, Very Wise, Very, VERY Handsome wizard stands astounded. Kitty has just taught him a great lesson about magic https://budgetpixel.com/p/86599

I had to look it up, but I remember it now: it was in *Tales of Terror* (1962), directed by Roger Corman. In the segment based on the stories "The Black Cat" and "The Cask of Amontillado," Lorre plays a carefree heavy drinker who wanders the streets in a drunken stupor and ends up competing in a hilarious wine-tasting duel against Vincent Price's character.

No worries. I bet you're getting a lot of replies right now. i think the wizard wants kitty to be magical because.. he wants to refer people to somebody else when the need a teleporting taxi. Being everybody's magical uber must be tiring! lol

CaylaCatz

laughing, I'm surprised too to find out she has magic. That's so cool. So ... that's how she gets around the world so fast everyday! I should have put it together! Some detective I am.

Cool image and great idea - I've never actually seen that, nor Gone With the Wind. I did watch Dr Zhivago which was a struggle

Thank you, Sonny! No matter how Clever and Wise you think you are, you always can be astounded. 🙂

Very good; he had some brilliant moments playing a drunk—I think it was in a Vincent Price movie.

Thank you very much, my friend! I hope Kitty's Magic will work on all of us!

Very cool Bogart and Bergman! I also find Peter Lorre amusing, with his bulging eyes.
