Graceful warrior ballerina balanced en pointe holding two swords in dynamic ink wash style
This dramatic ink and watercolor illustration depicts a powerful ballerina warrior in a swirling dance pose, balanced en pointe while wielding two ornate swords. The moody palette uses bold black ink washes, soft white negative space, pops of cobalt blue, and subtle metallic gold accents, with dripping brushstrokes and paint splatters amplifying the flowing, energetic movement. The piece blends ethereal classical ballet aesthetics with dark fantasy warrior themes for a striking, evocative composition.

lol. It's hiding all your friends! Nah! I think it's based on when you vote. Usually I vote earlier but this time I voted later. It seems if I vote earlier, you and a few others see me. If I vote later, than it's DavidP and some others. oooh, I should test times and see when I score better. That might tell me when I'm more likely to see my friends' pics

CaylaCatz

thank you. She's dancing on a tiered rooftop. I thought I saw one in a musical set in NYC but probably it was just set design to include the steps for dancing up and down them

Sometimes I get the feeling that it doesn't show me the ones I'd like the most....

DavidP

Fabulous and wonderful senryu. Wish I'd seen when voting, wuld have picked without hesitation

legion

Beautiful! It didn't show up in my votes.

Thank you! We never know who we'll see

DavidP

My pleasure. Yeah, that's where I mostly end up

EternaSky

Nice idea. Missing rooftop though

I usually alternate between the bottom quarter and the middle as I post the ones I like and my tastes don't run with the majority. I've never minded that tho. My friends like my tastes and that's good enough for me

I wrote the senryu after the challenge. I appreciate you would have voted for it, thank you. I did alright, landing in the middle.
