Entry in the Runaway Mine Cart challenge.

About this image

This hyper-dynamic action fantasy illustration shows a panicked, rugged female explorer trapped in a tilting, speeding runaway mine cart as it careens over broken, rickety wooden mine tracks above roiling, glowing molten lava. The high-stakes tense scene includes falling rock debris, an old skeletal miner figure, scattered treasure including a golden idol and loose rubies, and fiery volcanic cavern lighting rendered in vivid warm orange, red, and dark earthy brown tones. The artwork leans into classic adventure and tomb raider tropes, conveying urgent, heart-pounding danger from the ongoing mine collapse.
