Photo revision. I wanted to see if Nano Banana could do a photo restoration as I have seen others do. @winter_witch While this is not bad, it changed my face just a little, not too much, I think I'm still recognisable. The photo was from this Christmas last, Grace, my long time friend came for a visit from Singapore for the holidays. The photo was taken in my parents backyard. Grace and I have been friends since our first year in medical school, she is now a thoracic surgeon. She commutes every day from Sengkang across the causeway to Johor Bahru where she works at a private hospital. I wanted to share this, just to show how good (or bad) ai can be.

Beautiful image! Nano Banana can also use multiple start images at least 6. So youc an take 6 images with a different person of each of the images, and then combine them with Nano Banana so that all 6 people are together in one image and celebrate Christmas or another fest 👍

It has a lovely natural feel, Mel, thank you for sharing it. 😊 And though I'm still a total novice here on BP, I've found that Seadream v4.5 is really good at image-to-image creation - using the magic prompt generator as a starting-point and then refining it.

I think Nano Banana Pro is what you should be using for photo restoration. Nano Banana is not even close to what Nano Banana Pro does.🙂

I think I did actually use the Pro version. I must have as it was 160 credits. This was so close, so very close.

Oh yes I did. I used the original for the video clip 🤣 and thank you. I should find one of us from 2005.

It isn't a lot different to the original, Grace's face is perfect, you can even see her wedding ring. My face as I said is recognisable, but just slightly off.
