About this image

This epic fantasy illustration depicts Norse thunder god Thor roaring as he holds aloft his lightning-engulfed hammer Mjolnir, driving his iconic goat-pulled chariot through a snow-covered mountain landscape. Dramatic fiery orange sunset clouds and crackling blue lightning fill the sky above distant cliffside Norse castles, with intricately detailed armored white horned goats leading the charge. The vivid painterly art style emphasizes a powerful, heroic, thunderous mood rooted in classic Norse mythology and Viking folklore.

This breathtaking high fantasy illustration depicts a heroic Norse-inspired valkyrie standing atop a snow-dusted rocky peak overlooking misty, snow-capped mountain ranges. The red-haired warrior wears fur-lined brown leather armor, a flowing deep blue cloak, winged silver headpiece, and carries an engraved longsword and carved wooden shield, with a grand spired castle perched on a distant cliff under warm sunlit cloudy skies. The painterly artwork evokes a triumphant, epic atmosphere, leaning into classic Norse mythology and dark fantasy aesthetic.

This epic classic fantasy painting features a muscular female Norse valkyrie standing atop a snow-dusted rocky summit, high above a misty cloud sea surrounded by jagged snow-capped mountain peaks. The warrior wears fur-trimmed brown leather armor, a winged circlet, and a billowing deep blue cape, holding an engraved longsword with a round shield slung over her shoulder as her windswept red hair catches high mountain winds. The mood is heroic and triumphant, with rich painterly brushwork, muted cool blue, earthy brown, and crisp white tones that evoke a rugged high fantasy Norse setting.

number 2 and 3 is Thrud, either a valkyrie or a daughter of Thor and goddess by her own, destined to survive ragnarok (there is scholar debate if both are the same or different figures). and, she was not in the blog, none of the thor's children, didint find to much info back then about them, and needed more norse figures to fill the blog with the minimum characters, didnt knew back then wich more to add 😅

Very cool set! Love Thori's goat chariot and he's fierce. What happened to number 2? I saw 1, 3, 4 parts in the blog list but no 2

I meant when I clicked your blog link, it shows part #1, #3, #4 but not part #2. Is it just one you haven't written yet? And just skipped #2 to do later? I have a blog like that too when I was doing a series. -- also I didn't know about Thrud as a daughter of Thor. The myths I read were either him alone or hanging out with Loki. I'd read myths of Odin's children but not Thor
