Tea with Alice and the Cheshire Cat Special Guest Stars: Gilgamesh (Mesopotamian hero) and Shamash (Sun God) Today is an experiment with GPT2 Medium, GPT2.5 Flare and GPT2.5 Sunburst. I did not write the dialogue. I let the models write the dialogue. I wanted to see how they performed on the optimistic/positive vs cynical/sarcastic paradigm. The Cheshire Cat is written as a bit of a cynical grump. I requested the chat within the prompt with this passage: "...with Gilgamesh and Shamash and chat about dreams and visionary quests." 1. GPT2 medium 2. GPT 2.5 sunburst 3. GPT 2.5 flare The models created the dialogues based on the sentence, my description of Cheshire Cat's personaiity added with Cheshire Cat's known qualities, Alice's known qualities, and whatever was noted on Gilgamesh and Shamash in the content the learning model was trained on. Shamash, the Sun God and protector of Gilgamesh, did send Gilgamesh dreams and nightmares as portents and warnings on Gilgamesh's quest. Gilgamesh is perhaps the earliest known hero's journey recorded with the earliest fragments 2100 B.C.E. All three models came out on the positive side, trending to close to trite. Chessie should have been more more of a wisecracker. I think he needs a visit with Oscar Wilde to get his mojo back.
