Epic giant fantasy chessboard with opposing light

About this image

This cinematic high fantasy concept art depicts a life-sized chess battlefield, where intricately detailed light and dark fantasy faction pieces stand across a wet, reflective marble checkered board. Opposing sides include mounted dragon riders, royal kings and queens, armored knights, glowing wizards, and mobile siege tower rooks, set against misty crumbling gothic castle ruins during a warm golden sunset. The tense, epic mood leans into the classic light vs dark fantasy trope, with glowing purple and gold magical effects adding depth to the high-stakes imagined tactical battle.
